Faster Logging (DV Start/Stop Detect in Final Cut Pro )
Final Cut Pro (FCP) will detect breaks in your DV recordings. You will have to log the whole tape and then use Final Cut Pro (FCP) to detect the segments. So if you have a lot of takes that they know they won’t use, you may not want to use this method. This sounds like a great idea if you are including a lot of B-Roll and have plenty of Capture space on your drives.
