Social Networks
I average three or four general tweets (posts) and five or six direct tweets everyday. I view twitter as a concise public IRC chat room that we can use to help each other. I try not to tell you mundane things like what I ate for lunch or my current mood. I try to send useful tweets with URLs or ask for help from others–and ever so often try to make a joke. SmallerIndiana
Smaller Indiana is a network that wants to build community, culture and commerce in the Indiana area. The site states that “this is the place for you to share your ideas and engage with Indiana’s most creative and inspired souls.” I comment often on topics that interest me.
Amazon
I read books in my free time and listen to audiobooks on my commute to work. Most books I read are mentioned in an NPR podcasts when their authors are interviewed. My favorate topics to read about are current events, faith, poetry, technology and business. You can view my reading list for more specifics.
I use Facebook for personal use–to keep up with long distance friends, but I also add business contacts.
